The past decade has been tough for us Buccaneer fans as this team hasn't made the playoffs since 2007 and hasn't produced a winning record since 2010. The team could never get going in the right direction due to poor drafts, overpaid free agents, and suspect coaching hires. Now in 2016 there is legitimate excitement about this franchise as it feels like it is finally heading in the right direction. The team has the right Gm in Jason Licht and I believe they finally have the right coach in Dirk Koetter who has put together a great staff. The Bucs have had two great drafts and this most recent one looks promising.
Most importantly the Bucs have a franchise Qb in Jameis Winston who has quickly risen as the face of the franchise and team leader. The Bucs have key veterans in place on both sides of the ball to go along with their plethora of young talented players. This team is ready to build that winning mindset and become a perennial playoff contender. The core players are in place and now just need to put it all together as a team. There is high expectations and no one has higher expectations than Dirk Koetter himself.
This might be the most talent the Bucs have had in over a decade and should be primed to win multiple superbowls in the upcoming seasons.
