Slow Starts by Jameis Just Can't Happen

Slow starts have been an issue for the Bucs so far this preseason which is something this team can't afford during the regular season. Specifically the Qb who must set the tone and be sharp to start the game. If the Bucs want to be a winning team this year, then Jameis has to make it a priority to start fast and be precise with his throws. Jameis can't start 0-6 with 1 int to begin the game, just can't have it and Jameis knows he has to be better or the Bucs will struggle to win games this season. Dirk Koetter knows this and told the media today that they have to get Jameis off to better starts.
The good news is Jameis did do better on the Td drive that resulted in a 4 yd Td pass to Mike Evans. However, misses to Vincent Jackson and then Evans down the sideline just can't happen as those plays are staples of this offense and must be perfected. Again Jameis will get better as he goes because he still needs more experience but when there are plays to be made he has to hit them. Thankfully it's preseason and there is still time to get things to where they should be.
