The Jameis Factor

The days of looking for a franchise quarterback are finally over. As long as I can remember the Bucs have never had a franchise quarterback. They have tried with picks of Steve Young, Trent Dilfer, Josh Freeman and so many others, yet all of them didn't pan out here in Tampa. This was a destination where quarterbacks went to die. There is a total change to that this year. The Bucs are finally going into an offseason with their franchise quarterback and his name is Jameis Winston.

Winston is changing everything about the Bucs culture and forcing a winners mentality. With Winston at the helm, the front office can also change the way they look at the draft and free agency. They are finally a team that doesn't have to search for a quarterback. The Bucs can watch as better players fall based on QB needy teams (Cleveland). This is a situation the Bucs haven't been in and should take full advantage of.
