Pass Rush Has to Show up

4 sacks in two games is just not going to cut it for this Buccaneers defense as their pass rush must show up for tomorrow's game against the Rams. The Bucs need to get more creative with their rush whether it be more blitzes or using more twists and stunts with the front four. Clinton Mcdonald needs to step up and start getting some penetration to help Gerald McCoy get free. The Bucs will be without Robert Ayers which doesn't help, but guys like Howard Jones, William Gholston, and Noah Spence need to step up and bring some fire off the edge. If it takes McCoy to take out three guys for us to get a sack then they need to do it like they did here in which Spence got his first career sack.
Against the Rams, the Bucs have to get pressure up front on their Qb Case Keenum because if they do he will make mistakes. I would expect to see the Bucs mix up their blitzes with their linebackers and safeties along with moving their D-line around to create mismatches. It's time for this defensive line to take the next step and be a tone setter for this defense tomorrow. They have the ability to dominate and they need to tomorrow if the Bucs want to win this game against the Rams.  Put McCoy and Gholston in the middle with Jones and Spence on the outside and just let them go beat their guy. Keep mixing it up and attack all day and make the Rams offense pay for it.
